Production[]
The tribute was produced by close friends of Dunn; Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze and Derek Freda. [1] Johnny Knoxville said that they wanted to do the show themselves and get it right, suggesting that if they didn't other networks wouldn't do him justice.
Summary[]
The 40 minute long documentary worked it's way through Ryan Dunn's life chronologically. The show featured interviews from Ryan's family including his parents and sister. The tribute also had interviews with fellow Jackass cast members; Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Ehren McGhehey, Chris Pontius, Jason Acuña, Dave England along with other work-mates; Jeff Tremaine, Spike Jonze and Dimitry Elyashkevich.
The tone of the documentary was very down to earth. The guests featured were honest and heartfelt. Although a celebration of Ryan, the show didn't shy away from the fact that he had his flaws.
