Knoxville was still recovering from a broken ankle, that he sustained during Roller Jump.
An excerpt from this skit was used in the "Segment Selection" menu for Jackass Volume 1.
This skit was probably based on the "Sumo Wrestling" skit in the Big Brother video Boob which showed Knoxville, Tremaine, Kosick, Pontius and Sean Cliver wrestling in somebody's back yard.
